1. Simultaneously experiencing or expressing opposing or contradictory feelings, beliefs, motivations, or meanings.

   “The great sociologist Zygmunt Bauman argued that philo-Semitism and anti-Semitism both fall under “allosemitism”: literally Othering the Jew.
